Empowering children to succeed, one ability at a time

Physical Therapy

Children use their bodies to play, explore, and learn about their world while gaining independence. Our physical therapy practices are intended to empower children through improving their mobility skills and independence to participate in all activities at home, at school, and in the community. Our therapists find unique, fun, and creative ways to improve your child’s gross motor skills and their ability to safely and independently explore and engage with their environment.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy is all about improving a child’s independence with any and all age appropriate daily activities. Our therapists incorporate practical and fun activities into their sessions to improve your child’s find motor skills and improve daily functional activities such as handwriting, eating, and additional self care tasks.

Speech-Language Therapy

Communication skills are an essential aspect of a child’s overall development, health, learning experiences, self-esteem, and self-expression of their basic wants and needs. If a child is not achieving a milestone within a reasonable timeframe, it is important to ask questions and seek guidance. Our clinicians are here to assist your child in maintaining a healthy pace for their speech and language development.

Feeding Therapy

Got a picky eater, or a child with difficulty chewing or swallowing? Food is a common space in which families and caregivers can struggle to connect with their children. Proper nutrition is essential to a child’s development, yet sensory-sensitive children often respond to foods’ textures, consistencies, and flavors in ways that can make it difficult for them to receive the benefits of that nutrition. Furthermore, children with impaired oral-motor skills, such as weakness or incoordination, may have difficulty demonstrating skills necessary for safe and effective eating, such as biting, chewing, and swallowing.

Aquatic Therapy

Aquatic Therapy is designed to benefit children by working on therapeutic skills in a gravity assisted environment. Aquatic intervention improves strength, range of motion, balance, and many other aspects of mobility. We offer a variety of water-based services that clinicians use to improve any limitations your child may be experiencing.

Now Offering Teletherapy!

Teletherapy is therapy via a live video connection. The treatment session is similar to an in-person session, however it is over a computer (or other device) instead! Just as we operate for in-clinic appointments, the sessions are scheduled at a time that is agreed upon between the therapist and the family. Both parties will log in on a secure video platform where they will then begin their virtual therapy session. The therapist uses the same traditional techniques and activities they would use in a face-to-face therapy session. In addition to being a wonderful option during Covid-19, there are many benefits to teletherapy for patients and families. Learn more about teletherapy here!

Request a Referral to Medical Support Services

If you believe your child needs therapy, a referral from your pediatrician is required for treatment. After receiving a referral from your child’s pediatrician please contact one of our three locations to schedule an initial evaluation.

Our front desk staff will go over an intake form with you on the phone. They will ask for basic demographic information, insurance information, therapy history, and a brief description of the concerns you would like us to address at the evaluation.

Once an appointment is scheduled, we will set you up on our parent portal to enter your child’s health history information. To expedite the process, this information must be filled out prior to arrival for the evaluation. We appreciate your efforts in filling this out as thoroughly as possible.
